Cambodian Silk Workers

Kravan House in Cambodia sells silk products internationally, employing local workers to spin the silk, weave the cloth, and design and manufacture the products.

Kavan House was established as a social enterprise to provide work to disabled Cambodian men and women. The photos below are from the Phnom Penh workshop where new products are designed and the fabrication steps worked out. A large part of Kravan House's workforce work from their homes.
