Gitumba - A Closer School
A progress report on the building of a new classroom at Gitumba, in Rwanda's hilly Southern Province.
The existing school at Gitumba could not cope with the number of children in the village, meaning that many children faced a one hour walk up a steep mountain - and back - each day. Classroom of Hope funded a new school building, ensuring that the Gitumba children can now easily access their school.
I arrived early on a wonderfully foggy morning, allowing for some beautifully soft shots of children arriving for school in the mist.
